Four Brothers is one of Northern Virginia's premier tree & landscaping contractors. Our landscape crews are made up of skilled employees with many years of hands on experience in the industry. We specialize in all phases of tree & landscaping work from dangerous tree removals & trimming to seed/straw and sod installations.

Sometimes the weeds in a lawn are so bad that it's better to start over. If needed, we'll spray the weeds w/ a Round-Up based product, till & rake everything out, top-dress w/ an organic compost & add soil amendments, then seed/straw or install & roll sod. In Northern Va (Zone 7) the most prevalent grass is a Turf Type Tall Fescue blend. We have shade mixes available, but even shade mix blends will need several hours of good sunlight per day.
